Laughing Out Loud のそれぞれの単語の頭文字をとってつなげた略語。
「声を出して笑う」「大笑いする」の意味。
小文字(lol)でも大文字(LOL)でもOK。

「笑い」を意味する英語スラングの基本形であり、最もよく使用されている略語。
発音は「エル・オー・エル」と一文字ずつ読むこともあれば、「ロゥル」と一つの単語として発音することもある。

見ての通り、LOLを連発させたもの。
日本のネットスラングでいうところの草を生やした状態(ｗｗｗｗｗｗｗｗｗｗｗ)
