問4
I’d like to go to France and spend the year in a local village, not in a big city like
Paris. This is because I have always been interested in the country, and want to know
about how people live in a place where old lifestyles still remain. What I’m especially
interested in is the local festivals and foods. I believe villagers’ life is best expressed
in the festivals where people, young and old, get together, sing and dance in local
costumes. The local foods are also served there, and dining with villagers will give me
a good idea of how wisely they use local ingredients. When I get back to Japan, I’d like
to make the best use of the precious experience and new perspectives so that I can
invite more people from abroad to my city. I’m sure I’ll be able to be aware of so much
appeal that we have not been aware of.
